Reverend Dr. Henry P. During, Jr., is one of eleven grandchildren reared by his grandmother, Lucinda During. He is married to the former Juanita Michelle Queen. They are the proud parents of four children: Shunteal(deceased), Devon (deceased), Myeesha, and Zariah. They are also grandparents of D’Anderi, Reaghan, Bryleigh, and Nasir. Dr. During graduated from Garfield Senior High School in Prince William County, Virginia. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hampton University, a Bachelor of Divinity Degree from Triangle Bible Institute, a Master of Education Degree from Regent University, and a Doctorate in Christian Education from the Southwest Bible College & Seminary. He also received a Doctor of Ministry Degree at the Virginia University of Lynchburg as a Leonard N. Smith Fellow. Dr. During’s life’s verse is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Wanda Flowers currently serves as the Executive Assistant to Pastor Henry P. During, Jr. at Star Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church on a part-time basis and has support responsibilities for the Inspiration House Daycare (IHDC) . And, holds a full-time position as Operations Manager with the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH).
Wanda has experience in leadership roles varying from Human Resources, strategic planning, operations and customer experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro.

Ms. Monique brings over 19 years of experience working with children and a deep passion for early childhood development. Before joining Inspiration House Daycare, she owned and operated her own center, Mo’s Learning Academy, for three successful years.
She is certified in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration Training (MAT), ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all our little ones.
Outside of work, Monique is a proud plant lover with 14 beautiful plants at home—sunflowers being her all-time favorite! She’s also a huge fan of the color green and shares her home with her lovable Rottweiler, Mojo. And if you ask her about football, she’ll proudly tell you that the Dallas Cowboys are the best team in the league!

Ms. Anglin began her journey in early childhood education in February 1999 right here at Inspiration House Daycare Center. In 2002, she stepped out in faith and launched her own home childcare program, Train Up A Child Daycare, which faithfully served families until the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.
Known affectionately as “Auntie” or “Grandma” by many of her clients, Ms. Anglin created a nurturing, family-style environment—complete with home-cooked meals, loving care, and a generous heart. She often went above and beyond by sponsoring activities and waiving tuition for families experiencing financial hardship.
Ms. Anglin returned to IHDC in May 2023 as a Lead Teacher, bringing her years of wisdom, compassion, and a ministry-minded spirit. She continues to lead with grace, aiming to reflect the love of Jesus Christ in all she does

Mrs. Ana, originally from El Salvador, carries the heart, culture, and strength of her homeland wherever she goes. A proud Catholic mother of two college students, Gissell and Edgar. She beams with pride watching her children chase their goals and grow into the people she always believed they could be. Family and faith have always been her foundation, guiding her through every challenge and every blessing.
She has a natural gift with children. Her calm presence, nurturing spirit, and gentle patience bring comfort and joy to little ones, making them feel safe, supported, and truly cared for. Whether she’s helping a child learn something new or simply offering a warm smile, her kindness leaves an impact. Outside of caregiving, she loves spending time outdoors with her two pups, Luna and Zeus.
She also finds happiness in the kitchen. Cooking Salvadorian and Mexican food connects her to her roots, and she loves sharing the flavors of her culture through homemade meals filled with warmth and tradition.
She continues to inspire those around her with her strength, her kindness, and the gentle way she cares for others.

Mrs. Laurin brings a wealth of love, patience, and life experience to her role at IHDC. She began her journey in childcare in 2012 and has been dedicated to supporting young children’s growth and development ever since.
A proud wife of 30 amazing years, she is the mother of four beautiful children and the joyful grandmother of three. Her nurturing nature and gentle spirit make her a comforting and consistent presence in the classroom.
Mrs. Laurin’s commitment to children and family is at the heart of everything she does, and we are grateful to have her as part of the IHDC team.

Ms. Iyana Has a passion for working with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel loved every day. She is currently a student at Virginia Commonwealth University pursuing a career in dentistry with the goal of becoming a prosthodontist.
Outside of work and school, she enjoys shopping, trying new foods eating good, and spending time with family. Her faith is an important part of her life, and she strive to bring kindness, patience, and positivity into everything she do.
She's grateful for the opportunity to be a part of each child’s journey and look forward to creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for them.
