Meet The IHDC Staff
Dr. Rev. Henry P. During Jr. Pastor of SBMBC
Reverend Dr. Henry P. During, Jr., is one of eleven grandchildren reared by his grandmother, Lucinda During. He is married to the former Juanita Michelle Queen. They are the proud parents of four children: Shunteal, Devon (deceased), Myeesha, and Zariah. They are also grandparents of D’Anderi, Reaghan, Bryleigh, and Nasir. Dr. During graduated from Garfield Senior High School in Prince William County, Virginia. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hampton University, a Bachelor of Divinity Degree from Triangle Bible Institute, a Master of Education Degree from Regent University, and a Doctorate in Christian Education from the Southwest Bible College & Seminary. He also received a Doctorate of Ministry Degree at the Virginia University of Lynchburg as a Leonard N. Smith Fellow. Dr. During’s life’s verse is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Monique Rucker, Executive Director
Ms. Monique is our Executive Director. She has over 19 years of experience with children. She had her own daycare "Mos Learning Academy" for 3 years. She is CPR, First Aid, and MAT trained. Monique loves plants. She has 14 different plants at home. Sunflowers are her absolute favorite! She loves the color green. She's a dog mom to the cutest Rottweiler. She proclaims that Dallas Cowboys are the best team in the league!
Leanessa Strowbridge, PM Supervisor/Pre-Toddler Teacher
Rosita Anglin, Lead Younger 2's Toddlers Teacher
Ms. Anglin began her career as a childcare provider in February 1999 at the Inspiration House Daycare Center. She left IHDC in 2002 and started a home childcare service, "Train Up A Child Daycare," which cared for children until the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.
As a seasoned and knowledgeable childcare provider, she also ministered to all her children and clients. Train Up a Child Daycare was often called "Auntie and Grandma Daycare" because she sponsored activities, provided home-cooked meals, and often waived tuition when clients had financial difficulties and could not pay. Ms. Anglin returned to IHDC in May 2023 as a Lead teacher and strives to help others by showing them the love of Jesus Christ.
